What is a Hook Fastener?
– It is the fastening system.
Which uses two sides of material. The hook portion is the rough and scratchy like side and the loop is the softer fuzzier side. When placing the two sections together, the hook and the loop fabric attach to each other creating a bond, keeping the name tape in place during any activity. But not so strong that the name tape (or any other patch) cannot remove as needed.
Infrared Flag Patch
IR flags render in materials that result in a high contrast ratio in the infrared spectrum. They design to show up brightly whilst being observed through night vision equipment, as found on modern combat aircraft or attack helicopters. They design to protect the soldier from friendly fire.
However, camouflage (if any) is not compromised as the materials produce a low contrast ratio in the visible spectrum, and are thus not easily visible to the naked eye.
